"The Universe Smiles Upon You" is a multi-genre writing project inspired by a music album (of the same name) produced by the band Khruangbin. This writing project consists of 10 writing pieces, each piece corresponding to a song in the album. The genre of each piece is intended to best suit the respective subject matter and ideas. The pieces of the project encompass my interpretations of, attitudes toward, and ideas of the individual songs and the collective album.
